Here's another of Alex's boards, an 8'6 Tiki made in 1969 by Tim Heyland. In 1968 Tiki had moved to Barnstaple in Devon and during the winter of 68 - 69 Tim made over a hundred of these Australian inspired 8 footers which were taking over from longboards as the fashionable and radical board to surf. It still has the surf registration for 1971 and the classic TIKI splat logo.
