8'8" North American Gun

I had a surf at Mavericks last season where I traded boards with a friend and rode his 8' Twin-fin gun. I was sceptical at first never having surfed anything under 9'4" out there before. The first wave changed my whole attitude. The board caught waves with ease and was super responsive. I felt like I was really able to approach the wave differently, not having all that board to guide through the steps. It inspired me to make this 8'8" deep swallow quad gun for this season.
