Lyall Bay

Blunt delivers the 13 footer to Spud in Lyall Bay, the place where surfing was first introduced to New Zealand by Duke Kahanamoku back in 1915. Spud: " Yo, cheers for bringing the board over brother Blunt. A friend of mine who's a bit of an experimenter with boards turned up later on and got a few as well. He liked it. As it turned out there were some nice one footers at Lyall bay. Perfect for my first attempt. Will write up some details soon. Let's just say at this stage I am well stoked with the experience. I'm gonna bunk work tomorrow afternoon as the swell is supposed to pick up. Should be able to give the board a bit more of a go then. "
